New Camera...

I got a new camera to make it through college with, I haven't shot with it yet,lol. Kinda Astonished that I even have it, been a year since I shot anything. Last few days ive been getting comfortable with the controls. Or rather, testing out the VR in low Lighting.

I got a Nikon D3000 kit, with tripod, case and of course a memory card. Its all I can afford right now but its better than nothing and maybe someday I will have my D80 back. For now at least I can shoot and im very grateful for it.

Ive been looking for deviants to shoot with in Houston, Texas. No luck yet, but it would be nice to have someone with me to shoot for my photojournalism class. I'm new to the area as well and I don't know very many spots to go to. Maybe I will just jump into my SUV tomorrow and just ride around looking.

Well im Ryan, I was born and Raised in Dallas, Texas. Kinda been a mover since age 13 though. Ive lived in San Antonio, Dallas, and everywhere in East Texas a few too many times. Its fun but it hard to keep a job when moving so much.

Life Outside of dA: Usually either working or looking for a job. I don't do much else. Hard to hang out with friends when their so far away.

Life Online in dA: Im usually popping in and out of dA. I had quit for along time, because i had no camera and the thought about it came up every time i logged in. I plan on commenting more and supporting my friends and community more than ever now.
